留學作業如何在Abstract就讓教授刮目相看呢？如何讓老師打開你論文的第一段的時候就想給你高分呢？今天Meeloun教你9個步驟寫出高分Abstract！
步驟1.Find out the requirements regarding its length and style
撰寫之前要先確認你的文章用途，比如你是在寫碩士畢業論文，看一下學校給的handout里面有沒有規定abstract的字數。
常規的abstract字數大概在250字左右。還要結合每個專業的實際情況來定。
步驟2.Pick the right type
Descriptive (適用于比較短的論文) 或者informative（比較適合長篇著作），寫作之前一定要確認你需要用的寫作方法，不然很有可能abstract會不充分。
?Descriptive：briefly describe the work done (mention the purpose, methods, and scope of the research)
?Informative: 在abstract就點明研究的結果和conclusions。字數不要超過整篇文章的10%，具體字數看學校給的brief要求。
步驟3.Consider your readers
你要想到你的讀者，讀你的論文的人如果是老師的話，你如何能夠簡明的告訴老師你全文都在寫什么。讓他看到你的邏輯。
步驟4.Explain the importance of your research
你的abstract只有回答了這些問題才有價值，為什么你決定做這個研究，為什么這個研究對很多人都有意義而不是只對你有意義，你的研究是怎么進行的，結果是什么，為什么別人有必要去讀你的論文。
步驟5.Explain the problem and your methods
It's really important to define the scope of your research.
It's imperative that your research has a key claim or argument, which is definitely worth mentioning in the abstract.
這個部分可以解釋一下你用的resource和你的重點論據
步驟6.Avoid copy-pasting
Using new vocabulary and phrase structure will help you avoid redundancy.
你的abstract不要出現抄你文章句子的現象，要是獨立的一段，不要抄任何你論文中的句子。

不要出現任何explaination
不要too detailed
不要出現圖表，quotes，數據列舉
步驟7.Keep it well-structured and logical
你的abstract也需要有一個結構，有自己的：introduction，body，conclusion
Keep it logical and concise
步驟8.Include key phrases and words
最后可以有5-10個key words，這幾個關鍵詞是要考慮到后期讀者會需要什么關鍵詞的論文。
步驟9.Proofreading
寫完之后需要對你的abstract進行潤色，因為這一段是老師最先看見的一段，直接說明了你的學術水平。
